Skyworld: Wind Corsair is a 2D Side-scroller adventure game set in the floating islands world called ‘Skyworld’. Take on the role of the captain of a skyship as you fly through vivid environments fighting enemies and collecting treasure with which you can upgrade your ship as you progress towards fighting the ultimate pirate boss.

Install instructions
Download the zip file and extract it. Then run - SkyworldWindCorsair.exe
On Windows 10, a "Windows protected your PC" message may pop up. If so, just click "More info" and "Run anyway".
Recommended Resolution: 1920x1080
This is a finished game, but it is just the beginning of the stories to be told in Skyworld. If you are interested, feel free to follow and comment and all that stuff.

Well, it's a good thing you're not punished for dying. I'd have to say, the ship switching directions makes aiming through tight holes very hard and also less believable, I think. It's also funny that chest size doesn't matter.
I like the floatiness of the ship and the music. Pretty cool.

It does have some odd quirks like you mentioned. It was the first proper game that I ever worked on, so it's not surprising that it has various things that could be improved.
